Hey all! Are any of you looking to increase your sales and income? I'm starting a new Byron Center Chamber of Commerce Networking Group to help drum up new business for myself and others. I've been in networking groups for decades, and it's a great way to get word of mouth, loyal clients. The group only allows one person per profession and only meets every other Wednesday during lunch hours. We are looking to add a lot of motivated people who want to help themselves and others, grow their businesses. We currently have me for personal insurance, a realtor, a financial advisor, a mortgage lender, a car salesperson, a personal loan banker, and a property restoration company. We've been getting a few questions about our office and if we are still in the same building on 84th Street in Byron Center......and the answer is YES. But, we have decided to change to an "Appointment Only" insurance agency, meaning we will no longer be at the office during our normal business hours to greet the very occasional walk-in customer. All activities at our office with customers and company reps will now be by appointment. And the reason for this change is very simple. 99+% of our insurance transactions are done over the phone, through text or email, through our website or even through social media. So paying for full time office space just doesn't make good business sense for us any longer, especially in this post Covid work from home world we live in. So we have worked with Amanda Volkers of City2Shore Prestige Home Group, who owns our building, to structure our use of her building for just appointments. We are truly appreciative to her for doing this, as this is the perfect structure for our modern day insurance agency going forward. As part of our negotiation, we agreed to remove our sign at the road so she could use it to help attract tenants for her newly remodeled lower level, so that is why you are seeing "Office Space for Lease", instead of our sign. We now have our company sign on the building front entrance towards the west end of the building. If you need to meet with us, please call, text or email to schedule an appointment and please use the front west entrance going forward. - Rich Clow

I'm sad and excited all at the same time today. Today was my son Tyler's last day working with me and for our agency. He and his wife have decided to leave the cold of Michigan and move to the Charlotte, NC area in pursuits of warm weather and other career opportunities. I will miss him so much, but I'm positive he will flourish at his new job and new life in the south. Please send him a good luck note if you have a second.
