One of my biggest takeaways from the CORE Summit was this simple reminder: be where your feet are planted.
It’s easy to get caught up thinking about the next meeting, the next email, the next task, or what’s coming tomorrow. But this week reminded me how important it is to be fully present — in business, at home, and in the small moments that matter most.
I shared a quick story in this video about helping my son with homework and realizing how much those moments deserve our full attention too.
Just a little encouragement I thought was worth passing along. We could all probably use the reminder sometimes.

A few days in Palm Springs with some really great people in this industry. 🌴
The CORE Summit was a solid reminder that no matter how long you’ve been doing this, there’s always something new to learn and new ways to grow. Between the speakers, conversations, and networking, I’m heading home with a lot of ideas and even more appreciation for the people in this business.
Also not mad about trading Michigan weather for palm trees for a few days.
