They’ve done it again your reigning Back-2-Back National Champions!!! Great Job Rex Reagan and Max Moody! Unbelievable guys! One proud coach for sure! Way to represent Tennessee and Pickett County! Also I want to congratulate Jonah Johnson and Carson Smith on a 50th place finish in the Nation! Great Job guys!

April 2025 Business of the Month

The Byrdstown-Pickett County Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate Farm Bureau for being chosen as the April Business of the Month!

The Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation was founded in 1921 to be a voice for agriculture and farmers in Tennessee, especially those in rural areas who often do not have sufficient voice to be heard at all levels of government.

The Farm Bureau leadership is made up of volunteers at the county and state levels. Their mission is “To develop, foster, promote and protect programs for the general welfare, including economic, social, educational and political well-being of farm people of the great state of Tennessee.”

Tennessee Farm Bureau is the largest state organization in the country. We have an exciting announcement! Farm Bureau Insurance- Pickett County Agency Manager Kim Turpin has sponsored the admission to the remaining regular season high school basketball games for ALL students in the Pickett County school system grades PreK-12. We would like to thank Kim and Farm Bureau Insurance for the generous sponsorship that will allow ALL our students to attend regular season high school basketball games with no admission cost.
