Representing Team Armco were Mark Buchek, Commercial Loan Manager, and Tony Shakely, Commercial Loan Officer. Both also serve on the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

Tony may have found a new favorite club after taking a turn with the air cannon during the outing!

👀 Wondering why there's a giant crane towering next to our Butler branch?

We're constructing a protective steel wall along the west side of the building facing Hanson Avenue to help protect our staff and members should a vehicle leave the roadway.

Once completed, the steel barrier will be capable of stopping a 60,000-pound vehicle traveling at 45 miles per hour, according to the manufacturer.

The project is part of our ongoing rebuilding and renovation efforts following last year's garbage truck accident, which caused significant damage to the branch.

A few interesting facts:
▪️ The wall will consist of 11 steel beams
▪️ Each beam is 50 feet long and weighs approximately 6,000 pounds
▪️ The beams are being hammered 42 feet into the ground
▪️ The crane features a 150-foot boom hammer and stretches approximately 100 feet in length
▪️ Construction is expected to continue over the next three weeks

The drive-thru remains open during construction, although a few lanes have been temporarily closed while work is underway.

Our very own commercial lending manager, Mark Buchek, recently stepped out from behind his desk and onto the dance floor for the Leadership Butler County "Dancing for a Cause" fundraiser.

In a friendly dance-off against Jordan Grady, Butler County Chamber of Commerce president, Mark brought the costumes, props and plenty of enthusiasm — all in support of a great cause.

The winner? The Butler County Humane Society. When the community unites, everyone benefits.
