Hey Friends! I am your local Burnsville Farmers insurance agent I have grown significantly and I am hiring a customer service/sales processor/admin assistant/office manager/??–! I would say this is an intermediate level position as the work itself is not insanely hard, but the responsibility of managing all of it is definitely the challenge you should be up for. There is a ton of room for growth, and I am looking to hire the right people/person, so I would consider someone unlicensed with good skills. The role will gain importance, responsibility/value each year, with annual raises, and bonus money as incentives. Sales is not the focus of the role, however you will fall into plenty which I would want to incent you for, so you would need to become licensed (which I would pay for) and give you a raise. *Up to $1000 signing bonus for a licensed person!
There is lots of clickety-clickin on the keyboard so you need to know how to do the basics on the mad machine, and be able to keep up with a never ending task list, all while helping someone that needed something yester-minute. BTW-consider yourself honorary tech support for the agency as well, you MUST be more proficient than me!(trust, thas not hard)
You are positive/good vibes only, can talk to humans…on the phone…and understand that customer service needs to be handled in an efficient, professional, strong and sometimes stern, loving way. “Ticky-Tac’ service requests are also known as VERY important details, policy changes and so forth that need constant attention. Managing details that are imperative means you will need to have a certain level of ‘life responsibility’ and be willing to learn outta the firehose, quickly. Processing includes welcoming new customers to the agency, onboarding calls, sending packets, and making after purchase calls, otherwise I will be stacking a to-do pile on your desk.
Comp plan: $30k-$60k? Depending on skills, schedule. Also pay based on 25-45 hours per week, monthly base+incentives, 6-7 hour shifts, between 9a-7pm. *If you want more money, licensing is the “must” path. **Remote=Maybe?, sometimes, someday? Only up for negotiation after you are proficient, but my office is in Burnsville.
Several caveats…
1. I wrote this myself(not to be confused with AI)-can you tell? Overall (I think) I am a pretty fun-guy, however sometimes that doesn't come through. So please try not to overread into my tone, my demeanor, my grammatical errors, and def not my txt messages.
2. Admittedly, I have a strong personality/opinion and my drive to get things done can be a bit much for some. I welcome other strong minds, and I don't fear having differing opinions/thoughts but I am going to avoid anyone with completely different views on how the world works. What I have found is that if you have high expectations of not only your work, but of yourself and who you are as human, we will get along really well.
3. Personally my daughters come first and I respect your life situation as well. It's foolish to think that people’s outside life doesn't interrupt work life-sometimes. If I can trust that you are usually consistent, and your work quality is normally good, I am pretty flexible to work with.
4. Apparently I need to say this....Attitude truly is everything! If yours sucks on a reasonably regular basis, this is not a fit. Also true if you have a court hearing coming up for a restraining order, you regularly “don't feel good”….or if caring for your cats feels overwhelming. Dress code includes looking like you have showered this week, and showing up neat/presentable in a professional office building setting is a must.
