Back to school means more than backpacks and busy mornings… it also means more young drivers on the road.

If you have a teen driving to school this year, now is a good time to make sure your auto policy has kept up with your family.

A few things worth checking:
• Is your new driver properly listed on your policy?
• Are they eligible for a student discount?
• Has their primary vehicle changed?
• Are your liability limits still where you want them?

A quick insurance check now can help prevent an unwelcome surprise later.

Have a new driver in the family this school year? Send us a message or give us a call and let’s make sure you’re covered.

Between packing boxes, buying textbooks, and finding the perfect dorm décor, insurance probably isn’t at the top of your list—but it should be.

Here are a few questions every family should ask before move-in day:

✅ Is your student’s laptop, tablet, and other valuables protected?
✅ If they’re taking a car, is it insured based on where it will be kept?
✅ Are they living in an apartment that may need renters insurance?
✅ Do they know what to do if they’re involved in an accident or experience a loss while away at school?

A quick insurance review before they head off to college can provide peace of mind for both students and parents.

Have questions? We’re always happy to help you make sure your family is protected for this exciting new chapter.

Don’t Wait Until After a Disaster to Make a Home Inventory

Imagine trying to remember everything you owned after a fire, tornado, flood or major storm.

It’s harder than you think.

A simple home inventory can save you time and reduce stress if you ever have to file a claim.

Here’s an easy way to get started:

✔️ Walk through your home with your phone.
✔️ Open closets, cabinets, and drawers.
✔️ Narrate what you’re recording as you go.
✔️ Capture furniture, electronics, tools, and other valuable belongings.
✔️ Save the video to cloud storage so you can access it anytime.

It takes less than 15 minutes, but it could make a huge difference if you ever need it.

Prepared today. Protected tomorrow.

If you have questions about your homeowners coverage or want to review your policy, we’re happy to help.
