Most ACA plans now have an out of pocket max of 10,000 per person. Our clients are worried about having to pay this bill when they have a major health issue. We do offer the Aetna Cancer, stroke, and heart attack plans to our clients. You can choose an amount from $10,000 to $75,000 to be paid directly to you if you have any of the three things happen to you. A direct non taxable payment directly to you to help cover these high out pockets. Talk to one of our agents today about this great coverage.(These do have to be underwritten and approved)n

Medicare scammers are out in full force!! Do not call these numbers or fill out any paperwork!! These are marketing pieces that look like real Medicare letters. They are trying to get your Medicare numbers and sign you up for a different product!! Don’t give anyone your Medicare numbers over the phone. No one will ever ask for that, unless they are trying to switch your plans!! A lot of these scammers will say you qualify for money monthly, or that you qualify for a food card monthly. They are just trying to switch your plans, they don’t tell you about the high out of pockets or that you may lose your doctors or your RX are no longer covered. They will try this up until March 31st!! They are calling a ton of our clients and sending mail pieces out like this in the pictures below.

Getting a lot of calls from Medicare clients at the pharmacy. Remember, if you are taking a tier 3, 4, or 5 drug....you are going to have to pay your Part D Deductible the first time you fill one of these prescriptions. If you end up getting a 90 day supply, your costs will be higher this quarter.......next 90 days that cost will come down because you would have met your RX deductible. The RX Deductibles are ranging from 250-600 dollar range on these plans. Your out of pocket max on all Part D Drug plans is $2100 max on RX that are covered by your plan. That means the most you can pay in a year is $2100 for RX (this includes that deductible that you are paying) as long as the prescription is covered under your formulary.

As of today January 5th 2026 Humana, HealthSpring, and Wellcare (Medicare Advantage Plans) are "NOT" in network with UNC Healthcare systems. If this changes, we will let everyone know.
