In 2019, as RJK continued to grow, we knew it was time to bring in someone to lead our finance function. The work had outgrown what the executive team could manage on its own, and we needed someone who could handle every level of the capital stack, from acquisitions and dispositions to everything in between.
As we embarked on the search for the best candidate, one name kept popping up in conversations within our network: Ben May. It didn’t take long to see why.
Since joining RJK in March 2019, Ben has become the go-to resource for just about anything finance-related.
He has played a key role in our growth, bringing thoughtful analysis, creative discipline, and a willingness to ask the tough questions and challenge assumptions when it leads to a better outcome.
He brings the same drive and competitive spirit that defined his days as a collegiate football player, and he’s a trusted member of our executive team. Around the office he’s known as our Finance Ninja, and he’s the unofficial leader of anything ski-related at RJK.
