What an amazing honor to host and attend the Governor and Executive Council meeting at 121 Technology Drive in Durham, NH today.

It is so rewarding to see our government in action like this! New Hampshire is the only state in the nation that maintains this structure of government. It’s an amazing process that truly benefits the citizens of NH. We are so proud to be a part of this state with over 31 properties (and growing), and to play a role in attracting amazing companies to NH for all that it has to offer.

Thank you to Governor Kelly Ayotte and the remarkable leadership of New Hampshire for fostering such a welcoming environment for all. To quote a very wise woman, Entrepreneurship Follows the Path of Least Resistance. NH gets that, and it shows!

Over 20 years ago, our now-retired Head of Storage Operations, Steve Tranni, recommended a former colleague and friend, Kellee Snyder, for an opportunity to run our newest and, at the time, crown jewel facility.

Steve spoke glowingly about his experience working with Kellee in a previous career, and we didn't hesitate to bring her on board. She ran that location flawlessly, and she's been with us ever since.

Kellee has been a quiet tactician in our storage operations for nearly 25 years. She's done it all—from opening new locations and training new hires to guerrilla marketing, facilitating capital projects, acquisitions and dispositions, and managing third-party operators. Kellee truly is the Swiss Army knife of Stor-U-Self.

In fact, Kellee is one of the few people still on the team who remembers all the fun (and free gifts!) that came with our Yellow Pages ads. 🙂

Thank you Carson and John, our 2026 summer interns!

One of our favorite parts of the summer is getting the opportunity to work with students who are genuinely interested in commercial real estate. It's rewarding to give them a glimpse into what we do every day, answer their questions, and hopefully help spark an interest in the business.

And, of course, no summer at RJK is complete without a photo with Hammertime!

Hammertime came to us through Burlington's Pigs on Parade, a community art initiative supporting local fundraising efforts. While he's become a fun tradition making the rounds in our Burlington portfolio, his name also has a little more meaning. It's a nod to our founder, Richard Kelly, who started his career as a carpenter before building RJK. It's a simple reminder of where we came from and how the company got its start.

It's been fun making the intern photo with Hammertime an annual tradition, and we're grateful for everything this year's interns brought to the team. Thanks for all your hard work this summer, and best of luck as you head back to school. Looking forward to seeing what you all do next.

A lot of people only see a commercial real estate transaction once it's announced.

What they don't see are the months of planning, due diligence, conversations, business plan revisions, and strategic decisions that happen long before a deal ever closes.

105 Cabot is a great example of this.

Buildings are dynamic. Markets are dynamic. Sometimes a business plan stays the course, and sometimes it pivots entirely. Success comes from understanding when to adapt, responding to changing market conditions, and never losing sight of the goal. What matters is staying focused on creating the best possible outcome for our investors, our tenants, and the communities where we invest.

We're excited to see what unfolds at 105 Cabot. More importantly, we're excited about the opportunities that come from staying creative, staying versatile, and continuing to evolve every step of the way.

Every deal tells a story.

Westborough and Plymouth are two projects that our team is incredibly proud of. We acquired these properties with a vision, repositioned them from underutilized assets into state-of-the-art self-storage facilities, leased and operated them, and have now successfully completed the next chapter through their sale.

A huge thank you to the Newmark Self Storage Team - Kenneth Cox, Aaron Swerdlin, Taucha Houge, and Michael Gibbons - for their outstanding work throughout the process. It was a pleasure partnering with such a talented group to bring these transactions across the finish line.

To the Merritt Hill team, congratulations on the acquisition. We're sad to see these assets go, but we know they're in great hands, and we wish you tremendous success with them.

Projects like these are a great reminder of what we enjoy most about commercial real estate: seeing the potential in a property, executing a business plan, and creating lasting value along the way.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our broker open house at 40 Warren Street, and a special thank you to the JLL leasing team - Bryan Sparkes, Brian Flaherty, Kate O'Hara, and everyone else who helped make the event a success.
