U.S. corn continues to see strong demand in global markets. In the first 2 months of 2026, exports reached $3.1 billion, up 6% by value. Key markets for U.S. corn include Mexico, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, helping support what is forecast to be a record season of U.S. corn exports.

🚨 Enrollment for the Farmer Bridge Assistance program opens Feb 23. and closes April 17, 2026, providing $11B in one-time bridge payments to row crop producers in response to temporary trade market disruptions and increased production costs.

Premium subsidies for federal crop insurance will be increasing. Please see the table below for the new subsidy changes.

Beginning Farmer Rancher Benefits will also be updating. BFRs benefits including the additional 10 percent premium subsidy rate for up to 10 years will receive an additional 5 percent premium subsidy rate for the first two crop years, an additional 3 percent premium subsidy rate for the third year, and an additional 1 percent premium rate for the fourth year.

SCO premium subsidy rate will increase from 65 to 80 for 2026 crop year. Insureds can now purchase the Supplemental Coverage Option regardless of their ARC election with the Farm Service Agency.
