Before you let your plan automatically renew, keep in mind that the same plan doesn’t always mean the same coverage. Costs, copays, provider networks, prescription drug coverage, and benefits can change from year to year, so it’s important to review your plan to make sure it’s still a good fit for your needs.

You can stop by and see me at one of my retail locations in the Arlington, Alliance, or Burleson area, where I’m available weekly, or schedule an appointment at a time that’s convenient for you.

🗓️ Medicare Annual Enrollment begins in 7 days!

So, what can you actually do during Annual Enrollment?

From October 15–December 7, you can:

✔️ Change your Medicare Advantage plan — including switching to a different plan or dropping your current plan.

✔️ Switch between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage.

✔️ Change your Medicare prescription drug plan if you have Original Medicare.

Changes you make during Annual Enrollment take effect January 1, 2027.

It’s important to look at your coverage each year because things can change — both with your healthcare needs and with the plans available for the new year.

Taking the time to look at your options gives you the opportunity to:

• Understand changes to your current plan
• Make sure your doctors and prescriptions are still covered
• Compare the options available to you

ANOC stands for Annual Notice of Change.

If you have a Medicare Advantage or Part D plan, your plan sends you an ANOC each fall. It explains important changes to your plan for the upcoming year, such as:

• Premiums
• Copays and coinsurance
• Benefits and coverage
• Drug coverage
• Provider or pharmacy changes

📅 Be sure to review your ANOC when it arrives. It can help you understand what’s changing before Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period begins October 15.

📅 Open Enrollment is getting close!

It’s almost time to start reviewing your 2027 health coverage. Here are two important — but different — enrollment periods to keep in mind!

🔵 MEDICARE
October 15 – December 7

Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period is your opportunity to review your coverage and make changes for 2027. Changes made during this period take effect January 1, 2027.

🟡 MARKETPLACE (ACA)
November 1 – January 15

Marketplace Open Enrollment begins November 1. If you want your Marketplace coverage to start January 1, 2027, you generally need to enroll by December 15.

Different coverage. Different dates. 📅
