With a long-standing working relationship between Preservation Studios and Foss & Company, several recent projects have been able to move forward with state and federal Historic Tax Credits, unlocking capital for smaller-scale affordable housing projects across New York!
These projects include the Eckhardt Building in Buffalo, NY. This former 1940s department store in Buffalo's historic Broadway-Fillmore Historic District now features 28 affordable apartments and roughly 22,000 square feet of commercial space. Preservation Studios assisted with the Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.
343 Central Avenue in Fredonia, NY, was a rehabilitation project of 6 existing multifamily properties, totaling 40 units. Good Carbon incorporated geothermal systems and other efficiency upgrades throughout. Preservation Studios assisted with the NR Listing, the Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.
The Selfridge & Langford Building at 97 Central Avenue in Albany, NY is a four-story former furniture showroom near the State Capitol. This includes 49 rent-restricted units and approximately 3,900 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and shared resident amenities. Preservation Studios assisted with the Part 1 and Part 2.
