Recently, our president, Paul Valley, joined healthcare leaders at the Healthcare Executive Forum's The State of Healthcare: 2027 and Beyond event, participating in the Payor Strategies and Trends in Healthcare Reimbursement panel.

The discussion explored the forces shaping the future of healthcare, including affordability, pharmacy trends, artificial intelligence, evolving consumer expectations, and stronger payor-provider partnerships.

We're proud to be Right Here for You, contributing to conversations that help advance a more accessible, affordable, and connected healthcare system for the communities we serve.

๐Ÿ’š Over the past 50 years, we've learned that meaningful change happens when people come together around a shared purpose. That's why we believe in going beyond the check, partnering with organizations that make a difference and rolling up our sleeves to support their missions.

Recently, in honor of our 50th anniversary, 50 Univera Healthcare employees put that belief into action through a United Way of Buffalo & Erie County Service-to-Go project benefiting Compass House. In just 90 minutes, our team created 260 handwritten cards for young people experiencing homelessness, offering messages of encouragement, hope, and support. And the best part? Our volunteers were already asking when they can do it again.

Here's to 50 years of being Right Here for You and giving back to the communities we call home. ๐Ÿ’š

Our employees recently volunteered with Ronald McDonald House Buffalo, helping prepare a taco feast for families staying at the House while their children receive care at local hospitals.

From ground turkey and ground beef tacos to elote corn, yellow rice, and black beans, our team was proud to prepare a meal and support a mission that helps keep families close when it matters most.

Thank you to Ronald McDonald House Charities of WNY for the opportunity to give back and for the incredible difference you make for families across our community every day. ๐Ÿ’š

As a nonprofit health plan, our mission extends far beyond providing coverage. Itโ€™s rooted in the belief that helping others, supporting our communities, and showing up when needed can make a lasting difference.

For more than 44 years, Glenn Deverell has brought that mission to life through quiet acts of service, unwavering dedication, and a willingness to lend a hand wherever it's needed. Whether he's supporting community initiatives, helping colleagues, or keeping our facilities running smoothly, Glenn's impact reaches far beyond the work he does each day. His story is a reminder that every role matters and that small acts of support can create Moments that Matter for employees, members, and the communities we serve.
