With four generations represented in today's workforce, strong communication skills are essential for building understanding and working effectively together.

To help strengthen communication and bridge potential gaps, Lawley's leadership team recently came together for a seminar focused on building stronger connections across generations. Leaders were encouraged to move beyond generational assumptions and explore ways to foster greater collaboration, understanding, and teamwork.

Back-to-school season is almost here, and our Buffalo office is helping local students prepare for the year ahead.

Associates once again came together for great food and a great cause, raising several hundred dollars to help provide school supplies for local schools and community centers.

We’re grateful for the enthusiasm and generosity of our associates, whose commitment to giving back continues to make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

While our 2026 internship program may have wrapped up, the impact our interns made will last well beyond this summer.

Capping off the program with a capstone project exploring innovative opportunities for our agency, our interns brought fresh perspectives, creativity, and curiosity while collaborating with one another and teams across our footprint.

Reflecting on her experience, Mia Tobia shared:
"My experience showed me that there is much more to the industry, especially the importance of building relationships with clients and working as part of a team. I was surprised by how many different areas there are within insurance and how much communication and problem-solving are involved. Overall, my internship gave me a better understanding of the industry and made me interested in the variety of career opportunities it offers."
