Harper County Farm Bureau With more than 200 members, Harper County Farm Bureau is one of 77 county Farm Bureaus that comprise Oklahoma Farm Bureau.

Designated county Farm Bureau members are for OKFB's district Ag Fund meetings as the organization prepares to engage in the 2026 Oklahoma election cycle with the member-led political action committee.

Each county Farm Bureau is allowed to send a single county delegate to represent their county, where they will provide input during each district meeting that will be used by the state Ag Fund board to make the final decisions on which political candidate to support.

We would like to thank all students within Harper County that applied for this years scholarship - it’s truly amazing to see the passion and dedication these students have to better not only themselves but their communities!

Harper County Farm Bureau had the honor of attending the Buffalo School Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 7th and Laverne School Awards Ceremony on Monday, May 11th to announce this year’s scholarship recipients.

Calling all second-grade teachers! Registration is open for the OKFB's Foundation for Agriculture's sixth-annual Watermelon Challenge! 🍉

During the challenge, students will grow their very own watermelon from seeds provided by the foundation for a chance to win prizes. The challenge illustrates the hard work and effort Oklahoma farmers and ranchers undertake when growing and raising food. Oklahoma Farm Bureau has opened applications for the 206 Agricultural Programs and Events Summer Internship! Through April 1, college students studying in an agriculture-related field have the opportunity to apply for hands-on experience in the daily operations of a statewide agricultural organization.

Oklahoma Farm Bureau and Oklahoma State University Extension are excited to host the second-annual Carcass Contest during the 2026 Oklahoma Youth Expo!

4-H and FFA members who are donating their pigs for OKFB's Foundation for Agriculture's Pork for Packs program have the opportunity to participate in the carcass contest. The contest will take place Tuesday, March 17 through Thursday, March 19 and prizes will be awarded for first through tenth place!

Registration is now open for OKFB's 2026 Young Farmers and Ranchers and Collegiate Day at the Capitol! Through March 28, young agriculturalists can register for the opportunity to learn about the issues Oklahoma’s legislature is considering that have policy implications for Oklahoma agriculture and our state’s rural communities.

OKFB YF&R and Collegiate members can register for this event online through March 28 at okfb.news/4l8ePyB where you can also request a hotel room through March 20.
