Markets continued their upward climb in May, supported by strong technology performance, positive economic data, and ongoing diplomatic efforts in the Middle East. The Nasdaq gained 8.36%, the S&P 500 rose 5.15%, and Canada’s S&P/TSX Composite added 2.37%, while investors welcomed better-than-expected job growth and upbeat corporate earnings. With the Fed's next meeting scheduled for June, attention is turning to updated economic projections and what they may signal about the broader economy. From \$24 billion spent on Father's Day to the popularity of dining out and special outings, this month's by-the-numbers highlights how families celebrate the dads in their lives.

Monthly Market Insights | June 2026 U.S. and Canadian Markets Stocks pushed higher in May, fueled by big tech names, positive economic news, and ongoing diplomatic efforts in the Middle East. We work best with people who are building something.

A business.
A family.
A future.
A life with more freedom.

They are coachable.
Curious.
Growth-minded.
Busy.
Driven.
Family-focused.

They ask good questions.
They want to understand, not just be told.
They are open to new ideas, but still want things explained simply.

They make good money, but they do not want to guess their way through big decisions.

They care about protecting what they have built, growing with intention, and eventually working because they want to — not because they have to.

That is who we serve.

Who are we?

A planning team that helps organize the chaos, connect the dots, and build systems around your money so life feels lighter.

Protect. Grow. Exit. Live.

A cool problem to have:

June is booked.
July is filling.

And I’m incredibly grateful.

One of our team goals has been simple:

A referral from every client.
A client from every referral.

Not because we want growth for the sake of growth.

Because good people know good people.

And when clients introduce us to someone they care about, we take that seriously.

The momentum is not from hype.
It’s from trust.
Real conversations.

And people wanting their friends, family, and business connections to have more clarity around their money.

So thank you.
For every intro.
Every conversation.
Every chance to make a real difference.

As July fills, we’re continuing to make room for the right people.
People who want real financial planning.
Not just investment talk.

Who do you know that could use a second set of eyes?

Top takeaways from Jesse Itzler:

1. Pour your soul into it.
Whatever you’re building — your business, your family, your health, your life — don’t casually participate. Go all in.

2. Create an annual Misogi.
Once a year, do something big enough that it changes how you see yourself. Something hard. Something memorable. Something that reminds you what you’re capable of.

3. Go above and beyond for people.
The little extra effort is rarely little. Make the call. Send the note. Remember the detail. Create the moment.

The best part?

None of this is complicated.

It’s just intentional.

Pour into the work.
Stretch yourself.
Love on your people.

That’s the game.

A business owner once told me:

“I make great money… but tax season still hurts.”

The issue wasn’t income.

It was structure.

If you own a business, retirement planning can do more than build your future.

It can help you:

Keep more money
Lower taxable income
Build wealth outside the business
Create flexibility
Stop relying only on “whatever is left over”

Two common tools:

SEP IRA
Simple. Flexible. Great for solo owners or businesses with limited employees.
But if you have eligible employees, you may need to contribute for them too.

Solo 401(k)
Often powerful for owners with no full-time employees besides a spouse.
You may be able to contribute as both the employee and the employer.

The real question is not:

“What account should I open?”

It is:

“What strategy fits my income, taxes, employees, cash flow, and goals?”

Because the best retirement plan is not always the one with the biggest limit.

It is the one that helps you keep more dollars working for your future.

Most business owners do not have an income problem.

They have a structure problem.

Fix the structure, and the same business can create more wealth.

Want to know which retirement strategy fits your business?

Send me a message with the word RETIREMENT and I’ll send you a few things to think through.

One of the best parts of building a team is watching people lean into who they serve best.

Nick has been doing great work with young families.

The newly married couple.

The family buying their first home.

The parents trying to figure out life insurance, daycare, savings, cash flow, and “are we doing this right?”

That stage of life is exciting… but it can feel like a lot.

And most people don’t need a 100-page financial plan.

They need clarity.

They need someone to help organize the moving pieces.

They need a simple next step.

Nick is looking to help 5 young families before June get organized and build more confidence around their money.

If that sounds like you, or someone you care about, I’d be happy to connect you.

Young family life is busy enough.

Your money should not feel like another full-time job.

We’ll cover the stuff that actually matters when your business is growing:

Alyssa: entity structure, business setup, LLCs, PLLCs, S-Corps, DBAs, and whether your current setup still fits.

Me: inconsistent cash flow, benefits, and how to build a cleaner system for your business money.

Last time we ran this, close to 100 people joined across the sessions.

We’re doing it again Friday.

Stocks surged in April, delivering their strongest monthly gains in five years as solid economic data, easing geopolitical tensions, and upbeat first-quarter earnings lifted investor sentiment. The Nasdaq climbed 15.29%, the S&P 500 rose 10.42%, and the Dow gained 7.14%, while Canada’s S&P/TSX Composite added 3.65%. With no Fed meeting in May, attention turns to remarks from Fed officials and how evolving economic data may shape expectations moving forward. From \$34.1 billion in U.S. spending to the popularity of Mother’s Day dining and gifts, this month’s By the Numbers highlights how families celebrate the occasion.

Monthly Market Insights | May 2026 U.S. and Canadian Markets Stocks surged in April, notching their best month in five years as investors cheered upbeat economic news, efforts to lower tensions in the Middle East, and first-quarter results. Growth is easier when you are not building alone.

One of the things I love about being aligned with Park Avenue Wealth Management is the depth behind the scenes.

Clients do not just need someone to talk about investments.

They need a team, platform, and process that can help think through:

→ Cash flow
→ Retirement income
→ Business planning
→ Protection
→ Estate strategy
→ Tax-aware decisions
→ Legacy
→ Exit planning
→ Big life transitions

And what has me even more fired up is where things are going.

Better technology.
Cleaner systems.
Smarter workflows.
AI-driven efficiencies.
Stronger planning tools.
A more connected client experience.

The goal is not to replace the human side of advice.

It is to enhance it.

More time listening.
More time planning.
More time solving real problems.
More time helping clients make confident decisions.

That is the power of combining strong people, strong planning, strong resources, and better technology.

For the business owners, families, and professionals we serve, growth is not just about chasing returns.

It is about building a coordinated plan that can support real life.

Grateful for the platform, the partnership, and the continued growth ahead.

Let’s go.
