7 YF&R committee members and 2 WLC members had the opportunity to participate in the 2026 International Year of the Woman Farmer ACE Summit in Washington, DC June 1-3. We had the opportunity to hear great speakers, attend inspirational workshops, tour DC and spend time networking with others. This was truly a rewarding experience! We are ready to head back to our own farms and communities and TAKE AGTION!! 🙂

More info about the YF&R Spring Tour!!

The tour is going to start at the T***s Farm/Lost River Butcher Block. Then, we are going to move to Ron Miller‘s and have lunch there. We will tour his facility and then we will move to the Hamilton’s. They are going to give us a tour of their operation and that will conclude the farm tour!

The lunch will be provided by local FFA members. Please RSVP by Wednesday, May 13!

Our scholarship application is now live! Please share with graduating seniors pursuing an agriculture related degree! Applications are due by May 15!

On March 20, a few YF&R Comm. members met to package blessing bags. Over 50 bags were packaged! These bags were distributed in Upshur County, Mon. County, Roane County and Pocahontas County. This is our Harvest For All Project for 2026. We can’t wait to do even more throughout the year.

Recently, Rylee Brown traveled to Portland, Oregon for the 2026 Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers Conference. She competed in the Collegiate Discussion Meet and advanced to the sweet 16!! Woohoo!! 👏👏

Thank you for representing WV so well! We are super proud of you!

Have you heard the news? Next year, FUSION Conference will be heading to New Orleans!

On March 1, the WV YF&R Committee met at the state office in Buckhannon for a meet and greet. This allowed committee members the opportunity to meet one another, learn more about the Farm Bureau and discuss activities for the upcoming year. This was such a fun and exciting day!
