Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day! Adult Protective Services (APS)are always ready to investigate, prevent and stop abuse of community members who may be unable to protect themselves. If you notice injuries, fear around caregivers or sudden financial changes or unsafe living conditions for an older adult, it could be sign of abuse, exploitation, or neglect, and APS is here to help.

Hosted by the Alita A. Watkins Scholarship organization, the Brains & Brawn Bowl is a college and vocational trade scholarship competition created to promote youth development, leadership, and scholarship advancement.

Participants aged 14-18 will have the opportunity to showcase their talents while competing for financial support that can help shape their future.
