BIO:
I am the founder and owner of Bright Mournings, A Celebration of Life: a business dedicated to creating personalized celebration of life events that truly honor the stories of those who have passed.

Before starting Bright Mournings, I was an educator, a role that not only strengthened my love of service but also helped me build lasting relationships throughout the community.

My inspiration for this work comes from a deeply personal place—my mother’s passing from pancreatic cancer. The beautiful celebration of life service we created in her honor sparked my passion for helping other families find comfort and healing through unique, meaningful memorials.

Through Bright Mournings, I hope to partner with local funeral homes, hospice facilities, and local vendors and small businesses to provide compassionate planning support, complementing traditional services, or helping to create a totally personalized and unique experience from scratch.

I am committed to bringing comfort, creativity, and dignity to families during one of life’s most difficult times.

As a Lafayette resident, I strive to continue to give back to my community with the same dedication I had as an educator—serving families with heart, professionalism, and integrity.

I am looking forward to making new connections, learning more about other local businesses, and serving our great community.
