Hi, This is Paula Commerford, My husband and I played music last nite for Derrick. I was pleased at the turnout and the community support .It was a good start, but there is a lot of more work to do to achieve the goal. As I stated at the meeting---this will take time ! As a community Brooten must stand together as a unit.Not just one or two people can achieve our goal, all must pitch in.If anyone out there has suggestions or ideas you can reach me at 320-205-1257. Please be on notice- the committee { has still to be formed, will be selective. There will be no negative, no back stabbing , we want positive feedback and communication at all times .There was a few people last night that spoke out of turn and were not nice about it .We will not have this ! W e got the message loud and clear of how citizens feel about Belgrade and I understand why that is.I personally feel the same way. BUT!!!!!! we do not want the same mistakes made here.We want our own police here.We want to feel safe with our families.. our children and community.We want a friendly, peaceful town we can be proud of.

Brooten city council meeting, at the last meeting the people and the council discussed getting Derrick for Brooten. Everyone wants it to happen and Derrick was there !!!!!!!!
