Pay on Time - Always
Your payment history is the #1 factor in your score. Even paying the minimum on time keeps you in good standing.

Keep Your Utilization Low
Use less than 30% of your available credit (under 10% is gold **). Example: $10,000 limit = keep balance under $3,000.

Keep Old Accounts Open
Your oldest credit card helps build your history. A healthy mix of accounts = a healthier score.

Want to go the extra mile with these tips...

Ask for a Limit Increase (and don’t spend it!) - lowers your utilization instantly.

Pay Before Your Statement Date - that’s the number Lenders see, not your due date.

Check for Errors + Add Positive History — one correction can mean +20 to +50 points. Good credit = better mortgage rates & more approvals.
