Freezing weather is on the way to Colorado!

What you should do to protect your home:

1) KEEP THE HEAT ON: We recommend keeping the heat at least 60° F

2) CHECK UP: do regular checks and watch for cold spots or signs of freezing.

3) OPEN CABINET DOORS: This can help to allow heat to circulate and heat harder to reach places

4) PROTECT PIPES: You can wrap pipes with heat tape or insulation to help prevent them from freezing

5) DISCONNECT HOSES: Make sure garden hoses are not attached to your outside faucets

6) KNOW HOW TO SHUT OFF: Know where your shut-off valve is located in case you experience a burst pipe

7) LET FAUCTES DRIP: Keeping faucets barely open can help prevent freezing in the pipes
