Webinar: How Sustainable Production and Economic Viability Can Coexist

How sustainable production and economic viability can coexist

If you are looking for ways to generate new revenue, guard against potential crop losses, and navigate this tough farm economy, we’ve got ideas for you. Join Agri-Pulse and United Soybean Board farmer-leaders at noon Central time on May 7 as they discuss new ways to keep farm operations both economically and environmentally sustainable. You can register for the webinar at https://us02web.zoom.us.

“In this economically-challenging farm environment, growers are looking at ways to maximize productivity and revenue, while keeping costs as low as possible,” said Agri-Pulse Founder and Publisher Sara Wyant. “I’m excited to discuss additional revenue streams such as high oleic soybean premiums, new cost share programs for cover crops, production research to protect against yield robbers, tools to improve on-farm resilience, and other topics.”

Speakers include USB Directors and Kansas farmer Charles Atkinson, Michigan farmer Laurie Isley, and Indiana farmer Matt Chapman.

March 24, 2026, is National Ag Day!

What is Ag Day? Agriculture is at the heart of our everyday lives—and this special day is all about celebrating the incredible abundance it provides. Each year, farmers, ranchers, agricultural organizations, businesses, universities, and individuals like you across the country come together to honor the vital role agriculture plays in feeding, fueling, and sustaining our nation.

How can you participate/celebrate?
• Read an accurate ag book
• Visit a local farm
• Do an ag-related activity like making a living plant necklace or creating a miniature greenhouse

Here at the Foundation, we celebrate agriculture every day and are continually developing new resources to teach youth more about it. We couldn't do this without generous donations from people like you. Consider donating today!

Your State Farm Bureau, County Farm Bureau, Women’s Committee, P&E Committee or YF&R committee can show your support by participating in our award challenges through dentations to the Foundation! Winners receive an award plaque and recognition at our Flapjack Fundraiser at the AFBF Annual Convent...
