Dear Gov. Cuomo: Congratulations on your reelection. I hope you don’t mind a brief request as you prepare for your third term. Please don’t hurt our industry and community by eliminating the restaurant tip credit.

Article is misleading. Ocasio was fined for the period of 3/31/18-4/30/18. The fine was issued/ triggered because she took out a NYS Insurance Fund policy on 5/1/18. This is common when businesses come into compliance with WC law- the rating board then issues a fine for the prior period.

Everyone needs downtime to be productive..

Hard Work, Hustle, Rest, Sleep

'If you're truly doing what you love, it won't feel like you're actually working... Even though I talk a lot about hard work and hustle, I still take some time off on the weekends to spend with my family, watch Jets games, and rest. Just because I put so much emphasis on working hard doesn't mean that I'm remotely trying to say that you shouldn't be sleeping or not resting... I'm trying to say that you should be using the time that you have while awake wisely and productively.'
