TLC / DMV Office Closures

Dear TLC Licensee:

In observance of Presidents Day, on Monday, February 16, 2026, Taxi and Limousine Commission offices will be closed.

Additionally, all New York State (NYS) DMV offices will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026, and remain closed through Tuesday, February 17, 2026, for a major technology system upgrade. During this period, all NYS DMV phone services and online transactions (including renewals, registration, and DMV driver license services) will be unavailable. DMV offices will reopen and online services will resume on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
