I recently had the opportunity to volunteer at the annual Gilda's Club Backyard BBQ. Sadly the weather forced us inside but the support and message we're still profoundly the same - we are here to support everyone in Wisconsin when cancer impacts them.
It is very rare to talk with somebody who has not had their life directly impacted by cancer, and I am no different. This hit especially close to home so I was so very moved by the generosity shown that night from vendors, volunteers, auction donations, bidding wars and the monumental amount of money raised for such a great organization. I especially love knowing the money raised stays right in our home state.
Thanks for the opportunity Gilda's Club to support such a great organization. I'm looking forward to next year's BBQ already!
