Our hearts are with the farmers and ranchers across Kansas who have been affected by the recent wildfires. These fires have caused devastating losses to land, livestock feed, and livelihoods.
In true rural fashion, communities are coming together to help one another. Linn county is no different.

Donations were made by Ag-Land, Butterfields, Linn Co Cattlemans, Linn Co Farm Bureau, MFA, FCS, Jason and Stephany Russell, Mason and Hannah Kiehl, Jerry Albertson, Matt Pfeiff, Bennett Angus Farms, and Zell Farms.

Truckers were Dylan Dennis, Jase Cowan, Travis Bennett, Brian Ehrich , Marc Zell , David Zell, moral support Bryden Zell.

With the generous help of these donors we were proud to send hay, mineral tubs, and fencing supplies to South west Kansas earlier this week.

Thank A Farmer Week 2026 is in full swing!
Over the last few days Linn County Farm Bureau board members have visited not only five public schools, but also Father McCarten Catholic School and Trinity Daycare to read Ag Accurate books to children.
Giving them insights about how Combines Work, how Strawberries are grown (and maybe snacking on a few), and pecan harvesting.

We had a visitor yesterday! Alyssa from the Linn County Farm Bureau board read to us. The board donated three new farming books to our library. We look forward to their visit every year!
