Some of the most meaningful appointments don’t involve writing a new policy—they involve showing up for people you’ve known for years.

Today, I had the privilege of sitting down with Billy and Tracey Best for a policy review. We’ve built a friendship over the years, shared a few rounds of golf, and had plenty of conversations beyond insurance.

Life has a way of changing. Priorities change. Families change. Health can change. That’s why reviewing your protection isn’t a one-time event—it’s something you revisit as life unfolds.

I’m grateful that years ago they trusted me enough to put a plan in place. Today, my job was simply to help them understand their options and make sure their coverage continues to align with where they are in life.

That’s what this business has always meant to me.

One of the best parts of this job is getting to know the people behind the policies.

Today, we had the opportunity to sit down with Paul Harvey during his policy review. These conversations are about much more than insurance—they’re about relationships and understanding the people we serve.

As we talked, I was reminded how much Paul pours back into our community. In addition to his role as a Project Manager with Redwood Roofing, he also devotes his time to developing young people as Director of Basketball for College Athlete Advantage and as Head Postgrad Coach at South Central Prep.

Whether he’s helping homeowners through his profession, mentoring athletes, or leading the next generation, it’s always encouraging to see people using their talents to make a positive impact.
