Donna needed help. Her home insurance premium was out of control and, as a widow on a teacher's salary, that was unsustainable. It was evident from the start that something was off.
So we got Donna's policies together and came up with a plan to cut the bloat, add coverage where it was needed, and put money back into her pocket.
Her original home and auto insurance was $8300 per year. That is a crazy amount for a modest home and one car. $5600 per year on the home insurance and $2700 per year on the auto.
So we shopped her policy around, talked to different carriers and created a bundle that nearly cut Donna's insurance in half! Her home and auto coverage, along with a supplemental roof insurance policy, costs just $4300 per year.
Donna's auto insurance is $100 less per month than before and her mortgage will drop by almost $300/mo. after the home insurance savings.

Money is tight right now. I hear it every day.

And insurance isn’t helping—premiums keep going up, and a lot of people aren’t even confident their policy would come through if something actually happened.

The frustrating part is most people feel stuck.

You can cut coverage (which usually backfires)…
Or spend hours shopping it (which no one wants to do)…

What I’ve been doing lately is helping people simplify it—quick review, plain English, and figuring out where the real gaps or savings are.

Sometimes nothing changes. Sometimes it creates a little breathing room in the budget and a lot more confidence in the coverage.
