Registration and judging will be on from 5:00- 7:00 in our parking lot at 121 S. Main, just look for the First National Bank of Broken Arrow Tent and someone will help you.

There will be six judging categories:
Under 3
4-to-7
8 - 11
12-17
Adults 18-up
Groups

Prizes will be $75 CASH for first place winners, $50 CASH for second place winners and $25 CASH for third place winners.

Registration will end at 7:15 and the top 3 will be selected to come up on stage starting with the first age group at 7:30!

Where can I find pictures of the adoptable pets?
On Facebook you can find pictures of the animals currently in the shelter by clicking on “photos” and they are located in the Current Adoptable Pets Album. Photos may also be viewed at bashelter.petfinder.com

How do I get more information about a particular animal?
For more information about a particular animal, please contact the shelter at 918-259-8311 to speak with shelter staff.

What is your adoption fee?
Our standard adoption fee is $65.00. For dogs, this includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, heartworm test, and a 5-1 vaccination. For cats, this includes spay/neuter and a rabies vaccination.

How does the first come first served adoption policy work?
All adoptions from the shelter are on a first come first served basis on the day the animal is available. This means: the first person in our parking lot for a particular animal. Shelter staff may make contact, get your name and phone number, and ask that you return when the shelter opens. If you have not returned to the shelter by the time we open, you forfeit the adoption. If no shelter staff is available to make contact, then you are required to wait in the parking lot until the shelter opens. Waiting in line by our door does not guarantee that you are the first person waiting for an animal.

How do I find out if my pet was impounded?
If your dog or cat is microchipped or wearing a pet tag, we will contact you and let you know it was impounded. The best way to find out if your animal has been impounded is to visit our facility. You may also reach out to the shelter by phone, however since animal descriptions may vary it is recommended to visit the shelter in person. Animals are impounded daily. Impound and boarding fees, if applicable, will be charged to reclaim your animal.

Do you allow rescues to pull animals from the shelter?
Yes. We welcome all rescues to reach out to the shelter for our rescue requirements. Please contact us at [email protected].

Do you accept donations?
Broken Arrow Animal Shelter is always accepting donations for the following items: towels, blankets, clay cat litter, pet toys, treats, cages, kennels, and pet beds.
