FMCSA Federal Filing System Outage starting 5/14

Read below for an important update regarding upcoming changes to the FMCSA Licensing & Insurance (L&I) systems that will impact insurance filings.
Effective end of business on May 14, 2026, the FMCSA L&I systems will be taken offline indefinitely as the agency transitions to its new MOTUS platform.
Shutdown Info:
• Date & Time: FMCSA’s legacy filing system will be shut down on Thursday, May 14 at 8:00 PM ET.
• No Filing Capability: There will be no ability to submit Federal filings from May 14 at 8:00 PM ET through Monday, May 18 (exact time TBD).
Please be Aware:
• Filings will not post to FMCSA during the system transition period
• Processing timelines may be extended once MOTUS becomes available due to the required manual submission process
• The bulk filing process will not be immediately available when MOTUS goes live
• Agents should prepare for any transactions requiring filings and plan for additional time for potential delays

We’re looking for a friendly, organized Part-Time Receptionist to join our small, welcoming insurance office. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service.
Schedule: Monday–Friday (part-time hours)
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately
• Greet and assist clients in person
• Handle filing, mailing, and email correspondence
• Perform other general clerical and administrative tasks as needed

• Basic computer literacy (we’ll provide training on our systems)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A positive, professional attitude
• Bilingual ability is a plus
