Earlier this week, we stopped by the Sharon Community Food Pantry to deliver food donations collected from our members at our branch and during our recent Community Shred Day.

There, Carolyn and her incredible team of volunteers work tirelessly to ensure no one in the community goes hungry by providing families and individuals with fresh produce, non-perishable canned goods, dairy and eggs, bread, pastries, and other essential items.

Thank you for all of your hard work to help our neighbors in need!

In memory of SCU Credit Union team member Robin Burns' nephew, Jonathan Irving, we're hosting the Kraft Family Blood Donor Center at DFCI and BWH .

This annual event is a heartfelt tradition dating back to September 2007, just one month after Jonathan lost his heroic battle with histiocytic sarcoma at the age of 21. By donating, you're helping us honor Jonathan's memory and support those currently fighting cancer.

Join us in celebrating Sheryl’s 25th anniversary with SCU Credit Union!

As Assistant to the President and Board of Directors Liaison, Sheryl says her role involves “working out who needs what and when,” making every day different and keeping the work fun and interesting. Over the years, she has contributed across many areas of the organization, including HR and Marketing, and has helped plan countless events for employees, members, and the community — including Family Day and many other events.

One of the biggest changes Sheryl has seen throughout her career is the transition from “stacks and stacks of paper” to today’s mostly digital workplace. Her wide range of experience and willingness to step into different roles has made her an invaluable part of the credit union for the past 25 years.

Outside of work, Sheryl loves cruising and especially enjoys traveling with people experiencing their very first cruise. She’s also proud of her two adult children, who were just 1½ and 3 years old when she started at the credit union. Many longtime employees have had the special opportunity to watch them grow up alongside Sheryl’s career journey.

Congratulations, Sheryl, and thank you for 25 wonderful years!
