We found newspapers from June 30, 1940 in an old house and pulled them out today to compare real estate prices and terms. 10% down and 4.5% interest aren’t too bad! Though, I don’t know what the average annual salary during that time was.

Clean but plain bathroom. What would your modern redesign look like??

Here are my ideas:

1️⃣Remove tub and shower surround and add new tub with tile surround and built-in niches.
2️⃣Paint walls neutral beige
3️⃣Remove flooring and add large format tile
4️⃣New vanity top (granite or quartz if budget allows)
5️⃣New light fixtures
6️⃣Frame mirror to bring in wood tones

I found this kitchen and wanted to put it out there to see how everyone feels about white kitchens.

Then I noticed the liquor pouring device on the counter!! LOL! Fantastic!

This makes me want to strategically place interesting items in my listing photos and make a game of it to see if anyone sees them.

Do you enjoy the renovation or home improvement process?

You probably like the end result, but the inconvenience of having contractors in your home and the mess they create can be annoying. Not to mention the hundreds of decisions that have to be made and products to be chosen and the list goes on.
