Wellspring Credit Union Wellspring was originally chartered in 1958 as Orange Firestone Employees Federal Credit Union.

Membership at Wellspring is open to individuals and their immediate families who live, work, worship, or attend school in Orange, Newton, Jefferson, and Hardin Counties in Texas. Credit Union Difference: Wellspring is a not-for-profit financial cooperative. This means when you become a member of the credit union, you become a shareholder and therefore you are a owner of the credit union. This is s

o unique in the financial industry and we are happy to serve our members. We return the earnings of the credit union back to you as a member in the form of lower interest rates on loans and competitive dividends on savings. Our governing Board of Directors are all volunteers and are active members of the credit union and are directly elected by the members which each member only having one vote.
