Applications are now open for the Machias Savings Bank Workforce Development Grant!

We're proud to invest in programs and initiatives that help strengthen Maine's workforce through job training, skill development, and opportunities that empower individuals to earn a more livable wage. This year, we'll award a total of $50,000 through grants of $25,000, $15,000, and $10,000 to qualifying organizations serving our communities.

Applications are due by October 31.

The Money Makers Showdown 2026 - 2027 is back!

After a successful inaugural year, we're excited to once again partner with Junior Achievement of Maine, Jobs for Maine Graduates JMG, and Sunrise County Economic Council. Through this partnership, Washington County students gain hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, learning how to turn ideas into real business opportunities while building confidence, creativity, and leadership skills. We're proud to invest in the next generation of entrepreneurs and can't wait to see what this year's students accomplish.
