Farmers Insurance sold its first auto policy in 1928. It covered a used 1925 Cadillac Phaeton owned by Charles Briscoe. He kept his policy for more than 50 years until he gave up driving. Why Farmers? "I just exercised good judgment," he said. Over 50 years? I'd say that's great judgment.
