Many people don’t know the process of getting life insurance. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’d like to break it down. 🤓

Not every company is the same, but this is the gist of it. 😌

1️⃣ Talk to a professional: They will help you decide what is best for you. 🧑‍💼👨‍💼

2️⃣ Submit an application (Can be E-signed). With many applications, you will have temporary life insurance in place as soon as you sign the application.✍️💻

3️⃣ Complete a tele-health phone call: The representative will ask many questions about your health and lifestyle. They are trying to gather as much information about you as possible. 📞🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️

4️⃣ Take a medical exam (if necessary):If it is needed, an appointment can usually be set up at home. It consists of blood, urine, blood pressure, height, and weight. 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️💉😳📏⚖️

(Note: It is becoming more common to NOT need the exam, but don’t rely on it.)

5️⃣ The company will do the rest. They’ll let you know if they need any more information. Just sit tight. ⏰🤞

6️⃣ Once the policy is approved, sign the final documents ✍️📝

That’s the general process of getting life insurance. ☺️
