Episode 5 of Hometown Heroes is live. And it drops on opening weekend of UIL football season for a reason.

Meet Coach Kevin Hoffman of Mart, Texas — who retired after 34 years and three consecutive UIL state championships (2017-19) at Mart High School. The coach who inspired him? His own father, who won a National Championship with the Texas School for the Deaf.

Coach Hoffman didn’t just build a winning program. He built a culture so strong that his former players came back to join the coaching staff and carry it forward.

Germania Insurance proudly surprised Coach Hoffman with a $1,000 donation to Mart ISD.
