We are grateful to Junior Achievement of Acadiana, the St. Martin Parish ROTC Program, and the St. Martin College & Career Readiness Center for including FM Bank as volunteer mentors in the Mentoring Men Program.
Designed for young men in grades 9–12, the Mentoring Men Program connects students with mentors who provide guidance, encouragement, and real-world insights. Through conversations centered on career exploration, business knowledge, and financial empowerment, the program helps students gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to prepare for life after high school.�
FM Bank President Fred Mills and Consumer Lending Officer Paul Ch*****ne were proud to take part in the program alongside Elizabeth Thibeaux-Clay, Principal of the St. Martin Parish School Board’s College & Career Readiness Center; June DeBaillon, Junior Achievement of Acadiana Education Manager; and other educators and community leaders committed to helping students prepare for their futures.�
Paul had the opportunity to spend time with students participating in the Mentoring Men Program, while Fred also enjoyed visiting with Lawana Stokes, retired St. Martin Parish educator.
We are honored to have the opportunity to invest in students in our community and proud to be part of a program that brings community leaders and students together to inspire, encourage, and prepare them for what comes next.
