Honored to attend the 2026 UL Lafayette Distinguished Alumni Gala celebrating the incredible impact of the university and its alumni community.

Congratulations to UL football legend and former NFL quarterback Jake Delhomme, who was honored as the 2026 Distinguished Alumnus for his outstanding accomplishments and continued impact on the university and community.

Fred Mills, President of FM Bank, brought energy, humor, and heart to the event as live auctioneer, helping raise thousands of dollars in support of UL Lafayette Alumni Association initiatives and the Comeback Scholarship program, which helps returning students complete their degrees.

Highlights from the evening included Fred sharing the stage with Jake Delhomme, as well as spending time with Jill Zimmerman, CFO/COO of FM Bank, and her niece, Charley Webre.

It was inspiring to see alumni, supporters, and community leaders come together in support of current and future Ragin’ Cajuns.
