DHS hizo definitiva la eliminación de ciertas extensiones automáticas de permisos de trabajo. El cambio aplica a determinadas renovaciones presentadas desde el 30 de octubre de 2025, incluidas las de solicitantes de asilo.

📄 Presentar tu renovación y recibir el comprobante de USCIS no significa, por sí solo, que puedas continuar trabajando después de que venza tu permiso.

Las extensiones válidas obtenidas antes de esa fecha no se eliminan por esta medida. También existen excepciones por ley o aviso oficial. Para conocer cómo aplica a tu situación, consulta con un abogado de inmigración o representante acreditado.
