As I wrap up my MBS this morning I wanted to share some good in hopes you start your day as inspired as I am. I get asked frequently “ Hey E what’s Alabama like?” “what’s the insurance game for got your doing?” and my favorite “ We don’t hear from you as much, are you doing ok as a single dad?”

The fact is I’m great y’all. True enough I didn’t expect to make the jump as a single parent. What person goes into a new work opportunity thinking ”Ya know what would make this easier? Doing it by myself!”

However, working for has provided opportunities that I never thought possible. With our flex schedules I can balance out being a father and a top performer. I can have moments with my daughter where we make memories and I can smile when our team does great things.

Point of the rant and smiles is to let you know

1)Life is Good and I encourage you to be thankful

2) If you feel stuck keep pushing because opportunities are everywhere.

3) If if you fight the battle alone just remember who you fight for.

1 out of 2 people above the age of 50 are diagnosed with cancer at some point in there life. So many times when I speak with my clients they say “I don’t need a cancer plan because I don’t plan on getting cancer.” Well here is a real truth. No one does. However when when my cousin Cassie Harrell Courtney was diagnosed she didn’t let it get to her. She has remained a beacon of positive energy and a genuine inspiration to be strong. Even post surgery she was able to do a 5k walk. So this special day is to you Cass and thanks for letting me walk along side you.
