With e-bikes becoming more popular, we wanted to remind you about insurance coverage. A lot of people assume their homeowners or renters policy automatically covers their e-bike—but that’s not always the case. In some situations, coverage for the bike itself (like theft or damage) may be limited or excluded, and liability coverage for accidents involving an e-bike can also vary depending on the policy. 🚴🏻‍♀️

If you own an e-bike (or are thinking about getting one), it’s a good idea to double-check how you’re covered so there are no surprises down the road. 😮

The (Not So) Fun Insurance Fact of the Day! 🤔

According to AAA, regarding ☠️ fatal hit-and-run accidents in Massachusetts:
- 40% did not have a valid driver's license. 🚫🪪
- More than half were driving vehicles not registered in their name.
- Most were young males who crashed within a short distance of their homes. 👦🏻
