If you or someone in your family is still in school—or heading back in the fall—now is the time to make sure your FAFSA form is in.

A few things worth knowing:
⏰ The federal deadline is June 30. State and school deadlines are often earlier.
⏰ Many types of aid are first-come, first-served. Waiting could cost money.
⏰ You can make corrections after submission, but the form needs to be in first.

Don't let a deadline get in the way of money that's already available to you.

May 2026 Market Recap — Records, Resilience & Reality 📈

May was a strong month. The S&P 500 and NASDAQ hit historic highs, the Dow blew past 50,000, and Q1 corporate earnings came in nothing short of exceptional.

That said, we're watching the full picture. Inflation remains sticky, GDP growth is modest, and consumer spending is showing some fatigue.

We remain bullish for the rest of 2026 — but this environment rewards disciplined, intentional investing. And that's exactly how we operate.

No two clients are the same. Nor are their portfolios.

The strategies that serve someone building wealth at 55 look very different from those preparing for retirement at 65. That's why it's critical to take a multi-layered approach that allows us to use a mix of strategies to pursue your goals.

What mix works best for you?

Market Week: Climbing the Wall of Worry

The market continues to do what it tends to do best: frustrate the largest number of people possible. 📈

Despite nonstop headlines around inflation, oil, geopolitics, and interest rates, stocks continue showing impressive resilience underneath the surface.

That doesn’t mean volatility is over. It isn’t. In fact, I’d expect more of it as the year progresses.

But volatility and bullishness are not opposites.

In our view, the bigger trend remains firmly intact, and we continue to expect great things from the market in 2026.

Market Week: May 18, 2026

👉 Hotter inflation
👉 Rising oil prices ⛽
👉 More geopolitical noise 🌍
👉 S&P 500 still hitting new highs 📈

Despite all the headlines, the market just posted its 7th straight week of gains.

That’s because markets move on more than fear-driven narratives. Earnings remain strong, economic data is holding up, and investors continue to underestimate the market’s resilience.

Volatility is normal. Especially in a midterm election year.

Stay focused on the bigger picture.

Market Week: May 4, 2026

👉 Headlines: oil, geopolitics, Fed uncertainty
👉 Market reaction: stocks hit new highs

Markets continued to rally last week, with the S&P 500 and NASDAQ pushing to record levels.

Why? Strong earnings. Over 80% of companies are beating expectations.

That’s what actually drives markets.

Despite all the noise, the fundamentals remain very strong—and the market is responding accordingly.

We’ve said it all year: stay focused on expectations vs. reality.

We remain bullish on stocks for 2026.

Market Week: April 20, 2026

Markets surged last week as tensions eased, oil pulled back, and stocks responded exactly how they tend to in this phase of the cycle.

The S&P 500 pushed to new highs, the NASDAQ ripped higher, and small caps continue to lead.

Through all the noise this year—geopolitics, oil spikes, inflation fears—we’ve remained consistently bullish.

Why? Because this is what a midterm election year typically looks like.

Volatile early. Stronger as the year progresses.

So far, it’s following that path to a tee.

Stay disciplined. Stay invested.
