Congratulations to Duluth Folk School on 10 meaningful years! We're proud to support an organization that brings creativity, connection, and community to Duluth.

Be sure to swing by their space tomorrow, May 30, for cake and stories!

We are kicking off a year of celebrating all we've done together. In the last ten years, nearly 200 instructors have held around 1000 classes, for thousands and thousands of participants! And that's to say nothing of all the jams, dances, cribbage tournaments, demonstrations, cider pressing, presentations, fix-it clinics, and more.

Friends old and new are welcome to come have some cake. There's be a short presentation on the history of Duluth Folk School (and maybe a bit about the future), and good people. Hope to see you there!

What drives Paul?
👉 Helping people win at homeownership. First home? Lake cabin? Using equity to chase your next big goal? Paul's all in.

When he’s off the clock…
👉 He’s living the northern MN dream. Snowmobiling, dirt biking, fishing, pontooning, hunting… basically, if it’s outdoors, Paul is there.

His karaoke pick?
👉 While he admits he’s not the most confident singer, if the mic finds him, expect a crowd-pleaser like Sweet Caroline or Piano Man. (We’re holding him to it.)

Advice he’d give to his younger self…
👉 Make time for the fun stuff and actually enjoy it.

We’re thinking of the Two Harbors community, and everyone being affected by the Stewart Trail Fire during this difficult time.

We’re actively working to identify helpful resources and organizations accepting donations. For those looking to make an immediate impact, Rustic Inn Cafe and Gifts has been generously supporting firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, and individuals directly affected by the fires.

We know emergencies like this can take a toll in many ways, and support is available. Brightwater Health is offering accessible services for those in Lake County providing care, resources, and mental health support when it’s needed most.

Thank you to the first responders, volunteers, and everyone stepping up to support those impacted.
