Did you know: Many Medicare Advantage plans have an “OTC” (Over The Counter) benefit/allowance. This is separate from your prescription coverage. It can be used for a wide range of various health and wellness products like first aid supplies, bug spray, vitamins, and more. OTC allowance is built into your plan benefits and costs you nothing extra. Depending on your plan, you may receive a monthly allowance or a quarterly allowance of varying dollar amounts. In most cases you can easily order online or by phone. First quarter of the year is almost over-you need to use your allowance and take advantage of this benefit. If you are not sure - you can dial us up and we could help!
