🚧4/13/26 UPDATE - ROAD CLOSURE DATE CHANGE🚧
The contractor has changed the start date to April 27.
Starting that day, the intersection at US 377 (N. Bridge St) & Main St — right by the courthouse square — will be CLOSED for major roadway improvements.
💥 What’s happening?
A $1.46 million TxDOT project is kicking off to improve pavement, markings, and drainage around the square.
🛑 What to expect:
• Closure at Main & Bridge Street
• Work starts on the north side, then moves west
• Detour routes will be clearly marked (see map below 👇)
• Construction expected through July 2026
🚗 Plan ahead & use the detour!
Please slow down, follow signage, and watch for crews working in the area.
