It is with a broken heart that I share the passing of my beautiful mom, Sandra Sue Lindsey Appling.

Mom lived a remarkable life filled with faith, love, family, service to others, and an unwavering devotion to her beloved WKU Hilltoppers and Lady Toppers. She was a loving wife to my dad for 63 years, a wonderful mother to me and my sister, and the proudest grandmother imaginable. Her family was her greatest joy and we were so blessed to be loved by her.

Mom taught us so much through the way she lived-loving deeply, giving generously, working hard, and always being there for the people she cared about. I will miss her more than words can ever express, but I am grateful for every memory and for the incredible example she gave us.

Please keep my dad, my sister and our entire family in your prayers as we say goodbye to someone who meant the world to us. We love you forever, Mom. ❤️❤️
