Today, when we heard the news and our entire office went silent. Hayden Phillips wasn’t just law enforcement. He was a son. He was a husband. He was a father. Prayers for his family.

Today, we face one of the most difficult moments an agency can endure as we announce the loss of one of our own. Trooper Hayden Phillips, Unit 369, made the ultimate sacrifice while
patrolling I-65 in Warren County. He was assigned to Post 3 Bowling Green and was a graduate of Cadet Class 103. His dedication to duty and commitment to the commonwealth will not
be forgotten.
Our hearts break for Trooper Phillips’ family, loved ones, and fellow troopers as we grieve this tremendous loss. We will carry his memory with us, honor the life he lived and the badge he wore, and stand together as an agency to support this family in the days ahead.

September 11th is a day I’ll never forget.

I was young when 9/11 happened, but I still remember watching it unfold and feeling the impact it had on our country. Even at that age, it changed the way I looked at America, service, and sacrifice.

That day ultimately became one of the reasons I chose to join the military. I wanted the opportunity to serve the same country that I watched come together during one of its darkest moments.

Today, I remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the men and women who answered the call to serve in the years that followed.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸
