Come out today or tomorrow for the Scholar House Community Yard Sale. We start at 8 am and located at 701 Brownslock Road, BG.

All proceeds goes to Scholar House for events and our incentive program for our participants.

We have clothes .50 cents each - this includes all kids, adults, coats, jackets, goodies and shoes. We have some much good stuff at great prices.

Please come check out the Yard Sale and help spread the word. All proceeds go to BG Scholar House for their community events and incentive program.

Scholar House is a place were tenants/participants must have a child under the age of 18 yrs of age in the home, be a full-time student at one of our approved schools, maintain a GPA of a 2.0 or higher, attend life skills classes and get involved in the Scholar House community.

We are in the process of starting up an incentive program for our participants to earn personal and household items. We are currently collecting items for the incentive program and are hoping to have it up and going by July 1st.

Scholar House and HANDS are wanting to have something nice for our Scholar House tenants and their children for Christmas. We are asking for donations from our followers and community to be able to give the tenants and their children a Christmas gift this year. We are asking for toys for the children and household items for the tenants. Most of our tenants are single parents, and all are a full-time students at one of our approved schools.

Beware of companies or individuals offering to negotiate with your Mortgage company. Housing and Urban Development has Counseling Agencies in Bowling Green that can assist you. You should not have to pay a fee or a percentage to get assistance. Also, never sign any documents agreeing to have them represent you or act on your behalf. UNLESS THE AGENCY IS ON THE HUD APPROVED LIST!
HUD has a list of Certified Agencies on their website. Our agency (HANDS)is on the approved list.

Then, when the rightful person goes to submit a claim, their property has already been registered.
