Quick question: When was the last time you actually looked at your financial reports?

Not your bank balance.

Not the number showing in QuickBooks.

Your actual Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.

Because money in the bank can tell you how much cash you have today.

It doesn’t necessarily tell you:

What your business is actually earning.
Where your money is going.
What you owe.
Or whether the numbers in your books are even accurate.

That’s where clean bookkeeping starts becoming useful—not just something you “have to do.”

Abbey wants to know:

Could you pull up your financial reports right now and confidently explain what they’re telling you?

Be honest… are there transactions in your books you’ve been avoiding because you have NO idea what they are?

You know the ones.

You look at the transaction.
You stare at the vendor name.
You think about it for a second…

…and then decide, “I’ll figure that out later.” 😬

Except “later” turns into next month.

Then three months.

Then suddenly you have a pile of transactions waiting for answers—and you can’t remember what half of them were for.

Good bookkeeping isn’t about never having questions.

It’s about dealing with those questions while the answers are still fresh.

Actually reconciled the account.

Because transactions coming into QuickBooks doesn’t automatically mean your books are right.

Something can be duplicated.
Something can be missing.
Something can be entered incorrectly.

And everything can look perfectly normal… until it doesn’t.
