What’s your take on a possible 50-yr mortgage?

It wouldn’t be for everyone and so far it looks like the benefit is marginal, but maybe it’s enough for some people to get in when they couldn’t otherwise.

Just closed out August and completed a home loan for a couple buying their first home in Utah. This one helped me surpass last year’s total families served and loan volume by August of this year! And there are still more ahead for 2025! Feeling extremely grateful to have kept this growth up because I’m telling you, it’s tough out there. 81% of home loans have a rate of 6% or lower (well below today’s average) and affordability continues to be a major concern for many people. Maybe like selling ice in Arendelle in an ice storm? 😅🧊🏔️🥶

Getting to help each and every family with their major home milestones is such an honor. I love it and can’t wait for what’s ahead! 🏡💜

Here are a few things I’ve observed from buyers right now, and it’s actually good to know:
-It is almost always more per month than they hoped it would be
-Homes have still been worth more over time
-Real estate is a long game
-Being open minded has helped them get in sooner than they would have otherwise
-Homes are sitting longer and there are so many options for buyers right now
-Seller credits are amazing
-Having an experienced team who care about their outcomes makes a huge difference in satisfaction
